Hey everyone,

First of all, we would like to say a massive thank you to all of you who took part in the event and checked out SDP and WLC. The reception for the event has gone beyond anything that we could've ever anticipated, and we'd like to take a moment to express our gratitude and appreciation!

Unfortunately, we understand that there were some hiccups during the event. We wanted to give all readers in all time zones a chance to take part in the event, so we offset the start of the submission period to 24 hours after the event was announced, but we failed to release the clues and the form at the same time. As a result, many readers completed the crossword puzzle before the submission period even began, and it became a competition of "fastest fingers." We also didn't realize that the link only allowed access to a limited number of participants. All this was an oversight on our part, and frankly, we weren't expecting such an overwhelming reception.

We apologize for how the event turned out. It is our first time organizing such an event, and we kindly seek your understanding. Thank you for the feedback and for bearing with us. We will strive to do better next time!

That said, with how positive the reception was, we would like to hold a round 2 of the event, so that more people have a chance to participate. :]

Rakumon's Review of SDP

Thanks to Grace, I got to know a pro veteran translator, Johnchen!! Do check out SDP! You’re in good hands with him as your translator :3

The novel features Chu Qiguang, who transmigrates to ancient China. (I know, hold on, there's more!) He encounters a very interesting cat who becomes his mentor in cultivation and partner in crime. Chu Qiguang starts out as an ordinary farmer in a village and is suppressed by powerful local figures. He needs to save himself, his newfound family and friends (felines included). In the beginning, he has nothing—no cultivation, no status—and has to rely on his wits and schemes to maneuver the new world he is in.

 Unlike Who Let Him Cultivate?!, which focuses on the cultivation world and various funny shenanigans, this story incorporates farming and intrigue alongside cultivation and comedy. If that’s your kind of thing, go for it!

 If you are fond of cats and cultivation, then look no further. There is the adorable (hmm?) cat, Master Qiao, with his own share of secrets. Master Qiao may or may not remind you of a certain immortal fairy ;) You also get introduced to an intricate cultivation system, though it will take some time for all the details to be revealed.

 Here are some quotes from Master Qiao’s words of wisdom:

• The reason you still haven’t awakened your memories from your past life is because you haven’t become a true cat lover. Once you become a lover of cats, your life will change.
• For you humans, the same effect can be achieved by petting cats. If you use this to supplement your cultivation, you’ll be able to cultivate for much longer than others in a day. However, only cat lovers are able to do this. That's why loving cats is a huge advantage in cultivation, so make sure your feelings toward cats never change.
