The TMR-SG Connection

Hey everyone, this is Pokka, your beloved (hopefully) translator of Tribulation of Myriad Races, and I’m here to talk about a different book currently translated on Wuxiaworld. It’s rare for two books that are part of the same universe to be translated and published at the same time on Wuxiaworld, so it’s kind of a no-brainer that we need to do a collab at some point. Yes, I’m talking about Star Gate, translated by the etvolare, a translator we all love and know.

Star Gate is written by Eagle Eats Chicken, the same author of Tribulation of Myriad Races (TMR). This is a story with a mysterious connection to the world within TMR, as many readers have noticed. There are many guesses as to what the connection is. So what is this connection? Well, to say more here is to spoil the story for you, so I guess you’ll have to read the two books to find out.

With over two thousand chapters published, I believe most of you are already familiar with what Eagle Eats Chicken is capable of. The fights are gritty, the side characters are interesting enough to be the main characters of their own books, the comedy is on point, the trashtalks are glorious, and while things might be slow at times, the payoff rarely disappoints.

Reading Star Gate, I can see that not much has changed (which is a good thing in this case). Even the gritty and bloody fights are present, and as usual, many of the major characters are incredible schemers. Schemes are a big part of Tribulation of Myriad Races, so rest assured that this won’t be missing from Star Gate.

It has been over two years since this book was first published, and if you’re still reading now, it’s fair to say that you enjoy this author’s writing. In that case, you probably want more, so do check Star Gate out for more!
