Hey everyone! 

Yama Rising is finally hitting the shelves! I'm absolutely stoked about this novel simply because of its sheer magnitude and epic proportions. There are elements of cultivation and levels and kingdom building, and everything is stretched to a massive scale concerning an entire realm. If you like horror elements, the story follows the protagonist as he embarks on various investigations uncovering the truth behind supernatural incidents. There are moments in this novel which would resonate strong and true with our morals and beliefs, and yet there are also moments which are completely outrageous and promises hilarity (not to mention some puns intended). Otakus and gamers can also rejoice with the fact that the author makes a ton of references to mangas and games, such as Bleach, Gintama, LoL, World of Warcraft, and others.

Honestly, I'm simply amazed by just how much the author packs into this novel, and I personally think there's something quite fresh and unique about it as well. The story is gripping, but it's also an incredibly fun read. 

This is the 2nd novel I'm translating with WXW. Most of the less well known references will be explained in footnotes so that everyone's on the same page. If anyone has need of clarity on certain other references, feel free to ping me on discord, and I'll be more than happy to help! Schedule-wise, I'll be translating 50 chapters a month, with a look to increasing it if time permits. Given the sheer amount of research that the author has put into the novel, I'll unfortunately have to spend a commensurate amount of time reading up on my part to do the translations justice. I do seek your understanding in this regard. Nevertheless, we've got some chapters stockpiled, so we'll still be releasing 2 chapters a day for some time before reducing it slightly to 12 per week. At that point, any extra chapters that I manage to eke out will be released as bonus chapters from time to time. With that, I sincerely hope you guys enjoy the netherworld odyssey through the novel of Yama Rising with Ren and I!
