TranXending Vision Chapter 200 Q&A with the Author and new tiers!

Hooray! We've reached 200 chapters!

Here are the answers to the questions you, dear Readers, have posted. I translated the questions for the author and he sent them back to me, then I translated the answers. I've done my best to keep this spoiler-free but imagine the sweat I got when I read his answers…

New tiers have also been added and advance chapters go up to +10 now! Thank you all for your support and readership. =)

ahem Well, without further ado, here are the questions and answers...

Miraclerifle:

Q: Who is your favourite girl? (Punch him if he says Ru-Yi.)

A: I like Liang Si-Yao the most of all the female characters in the book. She dares to love and dares to hate; she is passionate and lively. There is also

Huo Feng

 from

the Death World

but you haven’t seen her yet, haha!

Q: Is there anything you would change in the first 200 chapters if you had the choice to go back and change it?

A: I’d correct some typos. There’s an old saying in China that goes ‘a slight move in one part may affect the situation as a whole’. Some plot lines cannot be changed. Thank you!

Saint Lucky Promissory Note:

Q: Will there be others like Xia Lei later on as the story developed ? A bit of spoiler question but surely other free readers are thinking of this…

A:

Yes, but just some similarities

The main character is

the only one in this dimension

Thank you!

Oak:

Q: How will tian-yin remain part of the story after this charade is done, since he seems pretty set on wing-shun girl and I doubt this will go harem?

A: This story will have a lot of female characters and the protagonist

will have nineteen wives.

 Thank you!

Chou_Osara:

A: Hello,

Si-Yao and Tian-Yin will be with the main character

just with a lot of

things happening in between.
things happening in between.

You can think of a long, winding mountain road, haha. Thank you!

quesneljoseph:

Q1) what was his inspiration for writing? What got him to get into this trade?

A: My inspiration comes from my brain but I don’t really understand it, haha. About why I started writing… One reason is because I like it and another is that it’s work. Writing is a job too. Thank you!

Q2) Was there a special reason for approaching the genre like this; with drama and a minimum of wuxia elements, and will it stay this way?

A: This novel belongs to the ‘Urban Fantasy’ genre, not ‘Wuxia’. The story will cut into the splinters of a box and

split into three parts

the

past, present and future.
divided into three parts,the
presen
future

This style will continue. Thank you!

Q3) what is his favorite wuxia/novel right now, and is it the same one as when he first started getting into the craft?

A: My favourite novel now is ‘I Opened A Clinic To Cultivate Immortals’. I’m writing it, haha. The style is different from the one you’re reading now. Webnovels in China are very developed these days and there are great changes in styles so of course it won’t be the same as in the past. Thank you!

This is my favorite novel right now. More than AWE. I have to ask, 4) how does the author find so many interesting moments of drama to bring out? The foreshadowing is wonderful and dramatic and stays consistent which is exciting! I love underdog tales but this one wins since to me it demonstrates how perspective, hope and clear goals can turn even the most boring knowledge into powerful results.

Thank you!

A: It has to do with reading and experience. I’m someone who has a lot of fantasy-like thoughts and typically have a lot of diverging lines of thought. I start tapping at the keyboard as soon as I sit down and it is like I have entered the world in my book, so of course there’ll be a lot of surprising and wonderful things popping up. Thank you!

Charcoal:

Q: Who is his favorite Martial Artist, and his favorite Martial Art? Where does he draw his inspiration and knowledge of Wing Chun and martial arts from?

(an interested martial artist asking)

A: China has a culture of about 5000 years and there are as many martial artists in legends as there are stars in the Milky Way. The one you guys know is probably the movie star Bruce Lee. I like Zhang San-Feng. He is one of the representatives of Daoism and created Tai Chi. The novels you read which involve cultivation have a lot of lines of thought which originate from him. The most powerful and recognised general in Chinese history is ‘Li Yuan-Ba’ - go look him up, haha. Thank you.
