FRESH Skyfire Avenue Release - Chapter 71
Chapter 71: Zeus-1 is about... OMG you guyz, spaceships! Pew pew, pew pew pew! So, like, is this story just a giant allegory for Star Wars? Let's examine this, shall we?
So clearly disciplines and Talents are the force, albeit more 'specialized' than in the starwars universe. But that being said, every jedi had their own sort of specialized force ability. Emperor Palpatine had lightning jazz-hands. Mace Windu could build purple lightsabers (fun fact, Samual L. Jackson demanded a purple lightsaber, or he wouldn't do the role) and making a really good pancake. Yoda could jump around like a sentient booger on speed. So take that as you will.
If that's the case, then Adepts are Force-users, and with the different alliances you have the goodies and the baddies - the Jedi and Sith.
To take it further, the different special Adept-heavy locations like the Pontiff's Citadel and Skyfire Avenue must then, logically, be the Jedi Council and.... and whatever the Sith are called. A murder? A murder of Sith?
So Lan Jue has got to be like Luke Skywalker in the Return of the Jedi, coming back after a long absence and getting messed up by family. Now he roams the universe full of space pirates, evil force-users, and what have you. Zeus-1 is the Millenium Falcon, and his four companions are decidedly sexier versions of R2D2 (Ke'er, cute, slightly annoying but secretly the glue of the group), C-3PO (Xiuxiu, the intelligent, political and proper girl), Han Solo (Mika, cocky, skilled, second in command) and ...oh man, what's the wookie's name... uh... oh c'mon I just had this... CHEWIE! Wow, Star Wars fan fail. Anyway Chewie is Lin Guoguo, Mika's attached-at-the-hip sidekick.
Even the wine an fanciness is a composit of Luke's/Anakin's annoying hobby that everyone was tired of thirty minutes in to the first movie - pod racing!
Guys, nailed it. This is Star Wars Episode 71, the Chinese Years.
