Rainbow Turtle's 6th Anniversary OG Celebration
Hi guys, it will soon be the sixth anniversary of when I started translating on December 7th. To celebrate, I have decided to hold a fanart and fanfiction competition for all my novels where you can gain the chance to win some cash prizes. Since I know that Overgeared will probably have an overwhelming number of entries if I join all my novels together, I have decided to hold two separate competitions. One for just Overgeared and one for Ranker's Return and Everyone is Young Except for me.
Since RR and EYEM are both newer novels, I am a bit worried about the number of entries. Therefore, I have decided to increase the prize for the EYEM/RR competition compared to the OG competition. So if you are worried about too many entries for the OG competition and that you might not win, feel feel to submit entries for both competitions and your chances will go up.
The submission date for this event is November 15th, 11:59 p.m. (GMT +10). All entries have to be submitted by this date to be considered valid. After this, there will be a voting period and the results will be announced on December 7th.

First Event: Fanart Event
Once again, I will be holding a fanart event with two categories, character and scene.
For the character fanart, draw any character that appears in the novel. For the scene fanart, create artwork of any scene that has occurred in the released chapters of OG. If it contains slight spoilers from the advanced chapters that haven't been released yet, please add a note when submitting the form below.
Artists can submit more than one fanart but only one entry will win for each category (of course, you can win once in each category). For example, if you submit two entries and they come first and second, the second entry will be invalidated. Third place will become second place and so on.
First to third place will be decided by the reader's votes in a poll. There will also be a translator's choice of one artwork that didn't win in the poll. Please note that I might use the winning artwork for promotional purposes and the winning entries will be placed on a fanart page. I also want to place the competition entries on this page. If your artwork didn't win a prize and you don't want your work on the fanart page, please let me know.
Character Fanart:
1st Place - $100 USD
2nd Place - $75 USD
3rd Place - $50 USD
Scene Fanart:
1st Place - $150 USD
2nd Place - $125 USD
3rd Place & Translator's Choice - $100 USD
Any medium is acceptable, including digital art and 3D models. Selective use of stock art or photo manipulation is okay, but only original work will be accepted. In addition, I don't expect any but explicit fanart won't be accepted. Entries can't be stolen and have to show some signs of effort. If I feel that an artwork doesn't qualify, I am free to disqualify them from the competition. Any fake/meme entries won't be included in the poll once I notice them.
Fanfiction Event
For the fanfiction event, feel free to write a fanfiction that is related to the characters or setting of Overgeared. Please upload it to a novel sharing site such as archive of our own, scribblehub, wattpad or even google docs (remember to turn on sharing) and then submit the link to the form below. Your fanfic can be explicit but please add a warning at the beginning.
