Happy Spring Festival, everyone!

Today is the last day of the year of dog. Tomorrow marks the first day of year of pig. So on behalf of my entire clan, I wish you all health, happiness, and good fortune in the year of pig! 

Spring Festival, or Chinese New Year, is the most important festival for Chinese people. During this time, people who have been busy working the whole year put their work aside, and do a lot of gathering with family and friends, where we eat, drink, and play games. Since I can't eat or drink with you, I've decided to start a contest with you guys, so we'll be able to have some fun together.

What you need to do is:

1. Hand-write a "福", which means happiness. (You can see this character on the doors and windows of almost every Chinese house. Click here and here for referrence. You don't have to write it with a brush pen, and you're welcome to be creative with your tool, design, etc.)

2. Take a picture of it, or scan it. Make sure it's clean and in focus.

3. Send it to me at 148114154@qq.com, with "Entry" as the title of the email.

Afterwards, I'll make a poll with a handful of writings I deem eligible, then you'll vote for the ones you like. The winner will go to the writing with the most votes.

The prize will be either a gourd, a seal, or a folding fan. It'll be the winner's choice. If you don't know what they are, please go check my previous announcements.

The contest starts now, and I'll launch the poll at 18:00 on Feb. 9th (Beijing Time), so make sure you send your entries before that. The poll will end at 18:00 on Feb. 12th (Beijing Time).

After announcing the winner, I'll have the prize customized according to his/her liking, and then have it shipped to his/her door.
