Hi everyone, I'm extremely proud to be able to share with you my favorite of the novels I've translated, Heroes Shed No Tears, by Gu Long. This is a story about love, friendship, ambition, betrayal and fearsome weapons. This version is an edited version of the translation currently available on SPCNET. I made a lot of changes, primarily making the English flow better, but also fixing some mistakes. I think this version is a much smoother read than the original translation.

For now, I'll post the first eleven chapters. The remaining chapters will go up in the next 24-48 hours. I'm sure there are still some typos or minor mistakes in there, please mention in the comments if you find any. I'd like this version to be as clean as possible.

There is a movie version from the 80's that sort of follows the plot of the story, but then veers off in some major areas. And a TV version actually came out last year, although the plot doesn't seem to bear very much similarity to the original story.
