Thank you everyone who participated in my contest, it was amazing to read all the awesome stories that were sent to me!

I had a full 37 entries, never expected it to be this many so I am thrilled and very excited!

First Place:

Visions of the End

Elisabeth Sülli, or simply Iza. Is a part time writer of surreal short stories based on her nightmares that have plagued her for many years. She's been writing on and off for many years but has decided within the last year or so to create a collective of nightmare stories. Iza resides in Austria with her spouse and two cats where she dabbles in art and other creative outlets when not at work.

Second Place:

The Reality of Make-Belief

Written by Warden of the Grey. A bit about himself:

"I've been an avid explorer of stories for most of my life whether it be books, games or other medium. However, I've never ever attempted to make my own or at least extract them from my mind to show others. Recently, a lot of changes has occurred in my life and this short story competition couldn't have come at a better time. Writing my first ever story has been a form of catharsis to me. I never expected to come within the top 3 and the idea that others will be reading the product of my mind is still very foreign. I hope you all enjoy my entry as much as I've enjoyed writing it. I aim to continue the story in the near future, now that I've got addicted."
