Hi readers! Chacha, another translator on Wuxiaworld, and I have partnered up to not only promote each other's novels, but also decided to bring you guys the Emoji Challenge!

Here's a summary on Chacha's novel - The People's God: Sacrificing Trillions to Ascend 

The story follows that of a soul that has been transmigrated into the body of Han Wu. In this world, everyone has a core race that does their bidding. The species of the core race directly dictates how strong they can be. The MC's core race is one of the weakest race out there, the locusts. 

Thanks to the exclusive powers bestowed upon him, he can now fight against fate to locate his missing parents, as per the final wishes of the original host and his grandfather. 

Just like A Blind Swordsman's Sword Coffin, there are some comedic undertones, where the MC does not take himself too seriously. However, these two novels have very different settings - BSSC is set in ancient china with immortals and other supernatural beings, while TPG is more military-style, but the army is made up of insects (I’m not sure how unique that is in this genre, but that’s PRETTY UNIQUE to me). Also, the novel is in a world filled with Gods with systems, so that's cool.

Personally, TPG is definitely a very light novel that I turn off my brain to read. I find it fascinating that the author came up with that many categories of locusts… (Again, how did the author think of this?!). The novel starts off in a classroom setting, so the conversations are easy to follow.

This is something you can read after school/work if you’re looking to turn off and just be a vegetable on the couch! The author has created a whole new world in this novel, and I think the premise of using locusts to battle is reason enough for anyone to check it out.

We will post ten emoji sequences in our respective Discord channel, posts, and in the google form. There will be ten emoji sequences in total. Five of the sequences will be from The People's God, and the other five will be from Blind Swordman's Sword Coffin.

Each sequence represents a scene from a specific arc or volume. 

Readers reply with their guesses for which scene/arc/volume the emojis represent.
