Wu Yuan nodded subconsciously. A new Savant expert meant a new sect elder or hall master. Each one was qualified to join the sect's upper echelons. It was perfectly normal for such figures to be summoned by the hierarchs. As for a governor or a provincial general? They were the political and military leaders of a province, each holding great responsibility. Naturally, they would also be summoned by the hierarchs.2

Aside from these particular cases, there were hundreds of first-rate Adepts within the sect, but not many of them ever met with hierarchs regularly.0
