For a moment, there was only silence within the ice cave.

Despite Mingyu’s speech, no reaction came from the vortex that led to the Abyss of Death[1]. Thick lightning occasionally shot out of the center, but that was it.

He still didn’t receive any response despite the second attempt.

The rest of us could only stare at the vortex and wait for something to happen as well. If even a ridiculously powerful boss like Mingyu dared not throw his villainous tantrum for fear of angering the Great Saint, then it made even more sense that we small fries should keep our heads low.
