As they progressed further southward, the battles became slightly more frequent, and sizable armies began to gather in open areas to face the Great Li Empire's army, or remain behind the tall city walls of their fortresses to resist the army's march. There had even been a few small nations that had joined forces to oppose the Great Li Empire's army together.

In response to this, the Great Li Empire's army only chose to engage in a few direct battles, but in most cases, they chose to adopt a more strategic approach, weakening their enemies from the inside. It...
