The autumn air of Moongaze Lake had yet to fade. Crimson and gold interwove across the mountains in a bright and pristine sky. It was the moment when the evening glow burned most vividly, dyeing the heavens a blazing red and leaving layers of vermilion clouds hanging along the horizon.
The clouds rolled and surged as a single point of azure gold pierced through them, drawing in the alternating radiance of the sun, moon and the mingled brilliance of heaven and earth, before descending through the mountain forests and settling upon a great island within the lake.
The dust sealed cave dwelling slowly shifted, shaking loose layers of accumulated ash. A wisp of red light slipped out from within, drifting and fading, then gathering and transforming before the grand formation into a woman clad in a long gown of cloud silk. At her waist hung a talisman engraved with a purple black mountain ghost, stirring faint currents of wind with each gentle step she took.
She stepped forward and extended her hand, catching the point of azure gold from the sky. With a light twist of her fingers, the color vanished, scattering into specks of silvery light.
"This is just the right chance to complete Scattered White Falling Feathers!"
She rode the wind and headed toward the hall. After traveling for a short while, she saw an old man bowing before the hall, thin as a withered branch and with a full head of white...
