It was a cliche ending. The Illuminati had been exterminated. By allying with the Three Empires, Hero Reina, the Last Wisp, the extermination was successful. Not all of the Death Lord's body was retrieved, but Davey felt it was better to leave some alone rather than seek them out needlessly.
"Davey, what about the former Central Three Elders?"
"The Central Three Elders? Ah, those guys."
After returning to Heins Territory, Davey had been busy preparing for his wedding with Perserque, so he remembered them only after hearing her question.
"Just leave them be."
"Leave them be? Who knows what they'll get themselves into?" Perserque asked in confusion.
"They can't do anything anyway. If we provoke them for no reason, it may backfire, then it’ll just be our loss."
If so, it was better to leave them be. Still, Davey could follow the Hammurabi Code and torture the elders for what they did to his fellow Last Wisp knights and Teacher Boris. However, unlike the gentle Elder Sharus, Elders Pat and Slim were fierce critics of the Central Three Elders’ previous dictatorship. Those two would undoubtedly do a better job of torturing them. Davey would only intervene when the situation went beyond the current elders’ capacity.
