Gonna give this novel a thumbs up with a positive review solely because I don't think it's fair that it was bombarded with a bunch of negative reviews when the only material of this novel (that I could find out there) translated was done by garbage machine translation. (And manga which generally skips most of the plot in order to get to the 'showy parts')
I've been looking for a proper translation of this novel for the longest time as MTL was utter garbage (only read up to 30 chapters) and have been keeping up with the official manga. While I can concur with some comments below such as that it feels pretty mediocre with some of the plot not being properly explained (such as why MC was in the hero's realm), the fact that it currently has over 1300 chapters at the time of this review (according to novelupdates) gives me some hope that this novel shouldn't entirely be a lost cause.
