The voice came from a tall young man who spoke to her in a friendly tone, “Super Ribbon, right?”
“Yes? Oh, yes.”
He had sun-kissed skin and wore light clothing, his blonde hair shining under the sun. Sporting a gentle smile, he looked down at her.
Super Ribbon asked, “Can I help you?”
“You’re a freshman in our department, right? It looked like you were lost, so I figured I’d help.” With that, he took the lead without waiting for a reply. “I’ll show you the way. Most of the new students have already gathered.”
She didn’t bother asking how he knew who she was.
He walked ahead with a casual familiarity and reached out to gently pull her by the arm.
“Ah!” Startled, Super Ribbon quickly pulled her arm back. He flinched as well, then gave her an awkward smile.
“Right, sorry. I got too friendly out of habit. It’s this way.”
“Thank you.”
‘Is he a bad guy?’
The thought crossed her mind for a moment, but she shook it off. He just seemed to be a bit much.
If someone were to ask what kind of existence Super Ribbon truly was, those who knew would answer without hesitation that she was a sword that cut through everything. In fact, Super Ribbon had once dealt critical damage to both Neltarid’s other half and Thanatos with nothing more than a simple awakening.
She was a peerless demon sword that had grown over a long period of time, being completed by Davey's hand.
Unlike the divine sword Caldeiras, she was a weapon so powerful that, unless the wielder had a certain level of skill, it could actually dampen their abilities.
