Blood thrashed in agony, unable to break free from beneath Karyl’s boot. Thick drops of blood fell from the severed limbs in his hands, each one sizzling upon hitting the ground and sending up curling trails of black smoke. 0

Karyl paid it no mind. Like a butcher dismantling a carcass, he tossed the pieces in front of Allen, one by one.0
