“We checked everything. But there’s nothing special left inside!”

One of the doors, which led back to the arena, was his personal escape hatch. Meanwhile, the other opened into a forest beyond the arena. At first glance, it seemed like they were being asked to choose between the two. However, there was no time limit, meaning no forced decision.
