The truth was that I was familiar with Murim. Back on Earth, I read a few novels a friend had recommended to me. I wouldn't say I knew every detail regarding Murim, but I was familiar with the general setting.
The problem was that this didn't feel like the right place to admit that I had read quite a few Murim novels.
A part of it was because the image of the Saint of Sacrifice and Revival had become too firmly established, but a huge part of it was that Jung Ha-Yan and even Han Sora were staring at Xiaolin...
