All were seated at the same level, save for four thrones above them. True Sovereign Lords occupied these thrones, and the oppressive pressure they radiated made it clear they were no ordinary experts.1

These were the leaders of the four great clans of the Jiuli race: Long Bukong of the Long clan, Ye Ziwei of the Ye clan, Zhao Qiankun of the Zhao clan, and Jiang Yuexu of the Jiang clan.0
