This is one of those rare novels which have comedy, romance, action and plot all packaged neatly along with great characters. The best part though is how it doesn't fall for the generic tropes... Or rather it remains self aware of the tropes used and makes fun of it

It has one of the few well written harems in this genre and that along with all the (literal) face slappings makes it a truly fun read. The Divine Face Slapping Art, Nutbuster Kick, Dao of the Brick.... The sheer number of howl provoking content is heaven defying.

Regular and punctual releases (2 Ch/day) and top quality translation is a cherry on the cake.

P.S. If the author puts too many filler chapters together, the TL release Extra chapters. What else could one ask for?

Are you tired of imbeciles that drone forever about shit that doesn't matter? Me too, and Long Chen doesn't put up with that shit. No, he practices the Dao of the Faceslap. The literal slap in the face.

Doesn't matter if it's an elder, or someone two cultivation realms above him. Even if he can't beat the dumbshit in a straight up battle he still won't hesitate to slap some sense into the fool.

If you're looking for something a little different, that takes the genre and spins it in ways that will make you laugh and cry but never put you in a position you don't know whether to laugh or cry, then read Nine Slaps- ahem, Nine Stars- and join us on the ride.

I have to recommend Nine Star highly.

Despite not having the most creative of plots by and stretch the author manages to keep the novel interesting even 1000 chapters in there are times when I am reading the next chapter with rapt attention.

The author has quite some skill in really making you anticipate the moment when the MC gets to slap faces and kick butt. And he does so more than any other MC you'll find on Wuxia! He won't take shit from anybody gods and demons be damned if you get in his way!

Other things that make the story interesting is that the MC is usually both rich and poor he might be richer than a king but its never enough for what he needs. This keeps things a bit interesting because the MC is able to solve almost any problem but there are always many goals to work towards at any one time. Our MC also likes to seduce every world toppling beauty he comes across almost by accident sometimes.

Oh also if you like an MC who will taunt enemies into puking blood then you have come to the right place.
