People engaged in a hobby to relieve themselves of the stress they got from their main occupation, but Han-Yeol was not getting any stress from his main job at all. However, after getting stuck in a rut, he did feel empty these days and felt that he had no reason to work hard. Of course, the people around him did not really notice this, since he did not go around making it obvious to them.
