Why did Pope Kronad want to construct the mythical temple Evangel to fight against the gods?0

If one pondered about it deeply, they would find it strange. One would think that they would have opted to create a powerful weapon, or a strong skill if they wanted to fight against the gods. However, Pope Kronad, the paladins, saintesses and priests that joined him in his cause all decided to create the Temple Evangel.0

The answer to that question was very simple. The one that obtained Evangel would seize its powers. On top of that, the defensive strength of Evangel was at a level that only a few could break. That was not all. Evangel could give its owner several special privileges that were very much in line with its mythical temple moniker.0

However, even those reasons did not spur Pope Kronad and the rest of the people to awaken and create Temple Evangel.0

According to different accounts regarding Evangel, once the temple was completed and found its rightful owner, the owner would be given the right to appoint ten people that would become Evangel’s Knights. According to those same records, the people appointed as knights of Evangel would gain a tremendous boost in power for a certain period of time.0
