The sudden appearance of the dragon surprised both man and beast.

Xiang Ning saw that the black dragon was biting and overpowering the Pale Moon. It didn’t release the beast no matter how much it struggled. The air was filled with painful howls.

The gruesome sound of bones being broken resounded. With a loud crunch, the beast’s neck was snapped and it was dead. 

Fresh blood spewed forth as the black dragon entered the body of the dead Pale Moon. When it reemerged, it was holding a beast core in its jaws. Xiang Ning was dumbfounded at the scene unfolding in front of his eyes.
