What a bizarre sight that was.
The poorly maintained road with no streetlights was illuminated by a speeding jeep. And its faint tail lamps cast weak light on a pitch-black something chasing after it.
What the hell is that?!
Chang Piljae reflexively stomped on the jeep’s accelerator.
He wasn’t sure what that thing was, other than it creeped him out in all sorts of indescribable ways. His instincts screamed at him to get as far away from that black thing as possible.
