Kang Jin-Ho was met with an outpouring of greetings while stepping outside the car. He greeted them back with a simple nod.0

“Sir! Can’t you, like, get us some buses to shuttle us around? Going up this steep mountain in this hot weather is killing us!”0

When one of the Assembly members whined at Kang Jin-Ho, his friend freaked out and smacked the man in the back of the head. “What the hell, dude?! Why are you bothering our Assembly Master with that sh*t!”0

Kang Jin-Ho grinned wryly at the duo before shifting his gaze to the distant steel gate.0

‘It is rather steep, isn’t it?’0

Back when the Martial Assembly’s main buildings were under construction, the planners and builders couldn't choose a spot near the middle of the mountainside. They had to avoid drawing the attention of the outsiders, after all.0

But the issue with this arrangement was that the steep incline of the road had not been addressed until now. Even though the initial construction took place decades ago!0

At least the people using the road were almost all martial artists. Their greater constitutions prevented a breakout of any major incidents, but…0

If the Assembly had been just some company where regular office workers had to commute to every single working day, many serious incidents and injuries would've happened by now!0

Such was the steepness of the incline in the road that even an Italian thoroughbred like Kang Jin-Ho’s Zoom-Zoom struggled a little!0

“My bad. That’s not my jurisdiction, you see…” Kang Jin-Ho replied apologetically. The Assembly members nodded in acceptance.0
