ISSTH Chapter 343 ☯
I recently posted something on the forums about translating the Chinese character for "star." Actually, the word for "star" can sometimes be translated as planet. In fact, the Chinese words for all the planets in our solar system combine a descriptive character with the character for "star." My assumption (I haven't researched this) is that it's because in ancient times the planets were thought to be stars. In any case, if you re-translated the names of the planets back into English, and (incorrectly) translated them as "stars," the results are kind of interesting. See the jump for the list!
