I wanted to clarify about my trip to the police station today. As a foreigner, I am legally required to register with the police. They were very cool, the main problem is that we moved to a place where not many foreigners live, so this particular precinct doesn't have a lot of experience with the process. Furthermore, I'm actually transferring my registration from one part of the city to another, which also isn't that common (usually it's an initial registration which is easier).
