December 4th. Overcast.
It is now the depth of winter. I’m not sure whether it’s because of the zombie crisis or other causes, but the whole planet has been plunged into a catastrophic cold wave.
Due to this cold disaster, both humans and zombies have curtailed their movements. This period has been relatively peaceful, with few casualties.
The two planetary wills’ interest in me hasn’t diminished. They linger around me all day, pressing me to choose a side.
To be honest, I personally lean toward siding with the Blue Planet Planetary Will. But if what the Zombie Planet Planetary Will said is true, and a third faction is really about to descend upon Blue Planet, it would bring a cataclysm upon all life on this planet.
According to the Zombie Planet Planetary Will, humanity in its current state stands absolutely no chance of withstanding that third faction. The reason is simple—humans are too divided.
Actually, the zombies aren't united either. But with me around, I can command every one of them. Only by rallying our strength can we hope to resist the third faction.
Even the Blue Planet Planetary Will concedes this point. HE is unable to control all of humanity.
The Zombie Planet Planetary Will also mentions that the might of this third faction is beyond the imagination of beings like the Blue Planet Planetary Will and me, who have never witnessed it.
Just as I am struggling to make a decision, the doctor comes to inform me that she has received intelligence. Eight factions have emerged in the zombie territory, each ruled by a self-proclaimed Zombie King, and these eight Zombie Kings seem poised to compete for the mantle of Ultimate Zombie King.
No wonder the zombie side hasn’t launched any offensives this winter. It turns out they have been undergoing internal restructuring.
It appears that the Zombie Planet Planetary Will has been stalling me here to prevent me from learning about the birth of those eight Zombie Kings. A clever scheme indeed. Given that all his thoughts have been devoted to this, it’s no surprise that the novel He has written is subpar.
With such a major upheaval in the zombie territory and the Zombie Planet Planetary Will concealing the truth, I must go and investigate in person.
I'll pack my luggage tonight and set off tomorrow.
Taking a day off.
