Author's Leave Request

October 19th. Heavy rain.

Two weeks have passed since another Planetary Will came looking for me. During this time, the doctor has stepped in to maintain order in my stead. People from other safe zones have also arrived with proposals for cooperation.

It seems that my safe zone is extremely well-known, especially my zombie army. It guarantees that no zombies will ever attack us.

The doctor has politely declined every offer, as per my instructions.

Until now, I still don’t know which side I truly belong to—the zombies or the humans?

It was another planetary will that had made me lose consciousness two weeks ago. HE claimed to be the true will of this planet and claimed that the voice which had approached me before belonged to an alien planet—the Zombie Planet.

According to Earth’s Planetary Will, Earth has already been invaded by extraterrestrial forces, and the culprit was none other than the Zombie Planet’s Planetary Will.

The Zombie Planet evolves by devouring resources. The last planet it targeted has been depleted of its resources, so it has set its sights on Earth, the next nearest planet.

The beings of the Zombie Planet have no physical form of their own. They spread through the zombie virus, latching onto others.

I was the first Earthling infected, and I seem to be special. After being infected with the zombie virus, I wasn’t possessed. Instead, I retained my own will, immune to the control of any Planetary Will.

That is why the Zombie Planet’s Planetary Will has sought me out—to win me over.

For the same reason, Earth’s Planetary Will also wants to win me over.

As of now, I have no way of determining whether either Planetary Will is telling the truth. Between the two, one must be lying, or perhaps both are.

One wrong decision, and the entire planet would be doomed.

I need a day to think it over calmly.
