I woke up on a small bed in Evandel’s cabin. The temperature inside felt quite pleasant as Evandel slept on my arm. I could hear her calm breathing and felt all sorts of emotions as I looked at her: pride, gratitude, sadness… She wasn’t my real daughter, but I treated her as such.

I felt sorry and ashamed. This feeling would only grow stronger in the future. A long time had passed since I came to this world. The farewell that seemed so far away steadily approached. I would most likely return to Earth after the final arc and this world would continue without me.
