"I will leave the debut group." I can't make it in this group. I should leave and set up a chicken restaurant so that my brothers could at least make a name for themselves. Destined to be a failed idol, I decided to leave the group for the betterment of the others. However, [A member dies if you leave the debut group.] What? "...This is making me crazy." The struggles of Bong Tae-Yoon, the Maknae on top, whose hands hold the lives of his group members, begins now!

So far this tragic hero has definitely captured my attention. It’s only been two chapters but I’m already looking forward to the launch. I thought it would be a classic regression story so I was surprised that there was no revenge scenario or even a easily identifiable villain. This poor guy was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and is plagued with survivor’s remorse. I figured that was it but then the author threw in an unexpected twist. At this point, I have no idea why this guy was targeted or who is targeting him but I’m intrigued. We’re off to a good start. Hopefully it continues and launches soon 🤞🏾
Update:
Welp, I just finished and though I’m not changing my 👍🏾 vote, the ending could have been better 🫤

Review after reading 20 chapters :
It is a very good idol group story. The MC is a veteran writer, and helped his group a lot. The other 4 members are pretty good too. Each have their own unique skill, including songwriting.
I like the regression aspect, and the butterfly effect that happened because of it. I have high hopes for this novel.
PS : this book seems to be as good as top management (in hiatus), became a star, or life again. For those kpop idol fans, reading this novel should be an eye opener to many aspect of idol group, including variety shows and reality shows.

Im at chapter 20 currently and enjoying it thus far.
It’s a slice of life kinda genre.
The plot is good and it’s not just a I went back in time story and I know the whole future kinda thing.
The first 20 chapter was to set a foundation for the MC as an idol.
From 21 onwards, things changed, so it is more realistic as compared to other novels where the MC knows what happened for a very long period of time before things started to change because of what he/she did or tried to do to change the “future” that was about to happen.
Looking forward to chapter 21 and beyond.
