Blizzard glared at the gargoyles flying overhead with his yellow eyes.

"Need some help? Now that I think about it, fighting airborne enemies might be a bit tough for you."

At Kai’s question, Blizzard shook his head. "No, I’m fine."

Blizzard steadied his breathing. It was a breath that placed his body in its most optimal state. Tension held at just the right level, not too stiff, yet not too relaxed. A body prepared to follow his every command the moment he willed it to move. With a single exhale, Blizzard had achieved that perfect readiness.

His eyes locked onto the three flying enemies. For lizardmen, airborne enemies had always been a troublesome existence, and there was no exception for Blizzard.

But that’s not an excuse.

He didn’t want to be a burden to his master, and instead wanted to be of help to him. No matter the situation, no matter the opponent, he wanted to be someone who was always useful.

For that reason, Blizzard had set out on a journey. He had encountered countless enemies, fought them, and in the end, always found a way to bring them down.
