sequel of battle through the heavens and wu dong quian kun, and battle through the heavens was one of the first novels that got me hooked on this site. I'm a little past half way through this novel as i write this, and still look forward to finishing it. It has many of the elements from the prequels still involved, but from a new perspective. battle through the heavens was about a medicine refiner, wu dong quian kun was about a symbol master/weapons refiner, and this one goes down the path of an array master. this trilogy pretty much covers the most popular wuxia themed professions with each being awesome in their own right

BTTH and WDQK have similar styles that I also really love; I am still reading both of them 😁 I love that the MC already has a love interest and that the two of them are so dedicated to each other. This leading lady has nothing but faith on her man, and the power and talent to stand beside him as an equal rather than a decoration! There is also crossever with characters from BTTH and WDQK which establishes them all in the same universe and gets your inner fan girl screaming fanatically 😉 This is a great first read even if you haven't read the other two! You'll get hooked quick!

I started my journey on Wuxiaworld world reading Coiling Dragon….it was amazing amazing story and along the way I’ve read many many books, some of which I’m ( Stupidly ) still reading since they are not finished. Some of the books I have come across have been meh….. but I have to say that TGR is definitely one of the best ones I have read, the character is not stupid, or retarded, or just an absolute prick. The story is fantastic, the plot is fantastic, and the characters are great. I kinda wished that Mu Chen would be able to meet up with his older acquaintances/friends more but I understand he can’t…. 😥 Over all it was slightly drug out I feel like but at the same time it has the fulfillment factor that just makes it an amazing read. You can wholeheartedly put yourself in the place of the character while reading, and be satisfied.

So considering I spent like 40$ on tokens to be able to finish I am happy to say that this book was a great read. I don’t regret spending the money on this I wholeheartedly recommend this book!!!!
