Edit 2: happy 300 chapters and the end of season 1. We’re on break and I can’t wait to get back.
For all the value my review and my opinion has: I am really enjoying reading this novel.
In my previous edit, I mentioned “long term” things. A lot of these “long-term” things got wrapped up in a satisfying way. There are still some left, naturally. and we will carry them as we go to season 2. Again, I can’t wait!

Edit: happy 100 chapters! I still like this novel!
You can see the author’s methods of setting things up here and there, pretty directly sometimes, and then bam! It hits a several chapters later. I like it because I remember the setup and I’m like “oh boy! Here we goooo!”
Then there’s “setting things up for long-term” and we currently have one like this that popped up earlier than intended (characters are like “it’s still too early”) and it is still building up as a “big important event that we’ll eventually get to.” With that said, the author added some mystery to it and on top of that, added a possible subversion to expectations.
How is it gonna work out? Initially I thought “easy. They’re gonna fight, Mr. Main Character is gonna win,” but now, I have no idea.
How many “long term” things have been set up by chapter 100? At least 3 and personally, I’m clueless on how all three are going to end up. I can’t wait!
Also, Kang Jae-Hyeok is an amusing Main Character because he is far kinder than me. You wouldn’t think so, but he really is.

Around 20 chapters in and I gotta say, this truly is the same dude who wrote Overgeared! And Rainbowturtle is here too! Hooray!
I’m enjoying it as it is going along. Similar to OG, it starts with some pretty hefty plot developments and proper character motivation presented. It will grab you and make you want to keep reading.
“I hope this novel doesn’t disgrace OG.”
While not all of us are here because we came from OG, I imagine a lot of us are and the last thing we want to see is a beloved character being ruined.
To be clear: so far so good!
