The Path of Dispassion rendered people emotionless, and their actions became emotionless as well. However, dispassion was merely a choice in how one acted, a direction for one’s life, rather than the essence of life itself.
The ultimate purpose of cultivating the Path of Dispassion was to alter that essence of life. This was no different from what had happened when Lu Yin had asked Ancestor Lu Yuan to plant the innate gift of teleportation.
