This one, well, how to talk about this big bad boy.
First and foremost and before anything, read it, it's not just good, it's one of the very, very best korean novels you can read.
The main structure is your usual "climb the tower" story, but the thing is, suicide hunter (or revival hunter) works as an anti power fantasy novel, Gongja doesn't climb to become stronger or cooler, but to do the right thing, every time, no matter what, even if it kills him, or if it kills him a lot.
Several arcs are deconstructions of usual genres, like murim, villainesses, demon kings, but all of them do it in a way that you see things in a different way, and most importantly, to show you a much bigger scope of emotions than your average novel does.
This is a very chonky read, be aware, don't expect easy or brainless fun, but also be aware that this novel will be WW's flagship korean novel for a year or so.
I really look forward to see winter being cut again...
