If you want want some lite reading and middle school like romance, then you should give this one a try. I gave it a shot but I didn’t like it. I even skipped around to see if it would get better. Sadly, it did not get better. The characters are very one dimensional and the plot is very predictable. The writing and the whole story is very amateurish. This genre has a lot of tried and true tropes like cross dressing, betrayal and revenge so I expect to see a bit of all of that. However, even if it is part of the genre, it can still be good or at least entertaining. When I found myself constantly rolling my eyes because of the immature and asinine antics these characters got up to, I skipped to the last few chapters to end my suffering sooner. As expected, the ending was consistent with the rest of the novel. I guess my biggest complaint is that the story was boring and trite. On a positive note, the story did end with a suitable hea so there’s that. Give it a try if you have nothing else better to do or I don’t know, don’t. Anyway, happy reading ✌🏾
