He didn’t need to take a bite—his eyes and nose told him everything. The bottom of the dough was crispy, and the top looked chewy. The tomato sauce gave off a sweet, tangy scent, and the rich aroma of meat clung to it thickly. The cheese, golden and slightly browned, looked like it would stretch in long strands with a bite.0
