This novel uses the formula of Immortal reincarnates into westrel. Translation is okey and pace is okey, but that's about it. TLDR version is: read this if you want to read junk food and turn off your brain.
The writing has a lot of problems. A LOT of problems.
1) Every single character is either loyal devoted higher saint OR is insuferable bandit ready to murder, steal and burn orphanages for the smallest benefit. It's hilarious how exageraged "villanous" the antagonists are. Characters also seem to flip flop between these two "modes of thinking" to the point it's hard to care for anyone much. What is character if it changes with the weather.
2) Everyone hates the main character like he pissed over their family hairloom or something. It makes no sense.
3) The main character behaves nothing like a "Immortal Emperor", he doesn't have the mentality of one, the poise of one, the planning of one, etc. There have been quite of a few of these by now, so it's very clear how "done correctly" looks like, so I'd expect comperable or better. In most situations you'll find the main character pick the "hopefully nobody else but me has trump cards" route, which is just dumb. He also has zero sense of keeping his abilities hidden. Fortunately everyone else is conveniently stupid, even when he tramples several of them, they're still hopelessly ignorant he's capable.
4) The main character has a lot of "knowledge" to the point, just because he's immortal empror, he also somehow knows BETTER then the locals what good local art and local culture is, including knowing better historical figures (of no more then 100 years prior) from neighbouring cities and their habbits! guess being a immortal emperor comes with omniscience. It's pretty hilarious how shameless the writing can be at times.
5) The main character comes off as a immortal murder hobo a bit. There's no real goal other then to go back murdering everything along the way. If this is somehting you like, close your mind and enjoy. Just dont expect much of anything in terms of development.

In terms of everything else:
a) Cultivation system is so-so. Its sadly one of those writing styles that takes any awe and magic out of the cultivation system so it comes off as pretty boring and lackluster. Main character also breezes though them so fast the cultivation system doesnt matter much.
b) The world isn't very well fleshed out. It has some cohesion but otherwise is very clearly just randomly stiched togheter, however is most convenient. It's not the worst, but sometimes comes off as silly: a few people die and suddenly the entire army of the country is "suffering a big loss", yet at the same time they have thoughsands of studens in the academies.
c) The culture and people are... I don't think this author knows what that is. The society portrayed in this novel is better used as some grimdark setting, since the level of lawlessness is at the point where normal constructs like money, shops, etc, shouldnt really be able to function when robing and killing people off the streets is just "who cares"
