A smattering of applause started, initiated by the emperor, the pope, and the kings. Soon, the knights that had accompanied them and the citizens behind joined in. In only a moment, the harbor echoed with thunderous claps.0

"You should descend first," Ortus, who had led the victorious forces, approached Eugene and whispered, but not without a deferential tone. "The victory over the Demon King was mostly due to your efforts, Sir Eugene."3
