The second round was an indication that the trial would soon speed up. During that round, cultivators with an advantage would get a big boost, while cultivators who had no advantage would be whittled out of the competition. The participants were still allowed to kill each other to take permission medallions during the second round, and at the same time, could get stronger thanks to the legacies.
