Outside of the immortal palace, and beyond the Fifth Star Ring’s western region... was the eastern planetary system.1

At the highest point there was a collection of 1,000,000 pagodas. Even viewed from a distance, the pagodas seemed to go on forever. The pagodas glittered as if with starlight, and were organized in such a way that they apparently corresponded to actual heavenly bodies in the starry sky. What was more, all of the pagodas were connected to each other by a network of chains that represented order.0

Located in the very middle of the 1,000,000 pagodas, there was one specific pagoda that was taller than all the others, whose radiant starlight illuminated the sky overhead. This was one of the most prominent pagodas in the entire star ring.1

An old man in a daoist robe stood in that pagoda, his hands clasped behind his back as he stared off in the direction of the west. He had the demeanor of a transcendent being, with flowing white hair and eyes that seemed to contain the cyclings of the universe itself.0

He was none other than the Pagoda Lord of the Star Ring Pagoda! And he was the Lower Immortal who was entrusted with guarding the east! He was also... Sir Star Ring’s Master!0
