Shangguan Helu acknowledged his command softly. Then, a gentle breeze dropped dozens of jars of spirit wine at their sides. With a flick of her slender hand, she removed the simple seal from one jar. The crisp yet warm aroma of wine immediately filled the air.
The young woman stepped lightly, filling each jade cup on the table. Then, she withdrew silently and closed the barrier once more.
The amber-colored liquid swayed gently in the jade cups, reflecting the complex emotion in Mo Su’s eyes. “Now that I am here before you, why not let the wine serve as a conduit to pour out your innermost thoughts? Pour all the loneliness of these three million years into this single cup of pure joy, Big Brother.”
