It was not really hidden in any way. However, most would not think that way. It was already a really rare sight for someone to possess triple resonances, as rare as someone with a ninth-grade resonance. As such, one would not expect a split of primary and secondary resonances on top of his triple resonances. 

In a certain sense, this was akin to having six resonances in total.

Even though the secondary resonances were weaker than the primary resonances, they still held onto the fundamental characteristics and strengths of each element. At times, these different resonant powers had been the key to helping him conquer his challenges.
