The best xianxia novel, period.
All the characters are developed, not just MC and friends, unlike other novels where there's either bureaucratic, stuck-up elders and "heavenly geniuses" which are in reality brats who seem to want nothing more than to defeat MC.
Lin Ming starts off as a teenager with absolutely nothing but the magic cube, and while most of his character development occurs within 200 chapters of encountering the magic cube, it's still a pleasure to watch him grow both in cultivation and in intelligence (especially around chapter 1900!).
While the magic cube is definitely an overpowered trump card in many cases, Lin Ming still has to rely on his own wits and strength to progress as he attracts the attention of greater and greater powers, until he becomes notorious throughout the known multiverse.
I've sacrificed grades, sleep, mental health, and much much more to finish this novel within less than two months, and boy, was it worth it.
