The Unrivaled Tang Sect (绝世唐门) – Index

The Unrivaled Tang Sect(绝世唐门) by Tang Jia San Shao

Synopsis:

The legend of the continent, the battle that brought fame; the Sacred Phoenix Lady, the Windfire Meteor Godrealm saber-art; the pair that ascend and fuse, the golden sun and the blue moon, the fury of the crashing thunder. There is no magic, no battle qi, nor any martial arts in this land. However, there are martial spirits. Ten thousand years have passed since the founding of the Tang Sect on the Douluo continent, and it has declined. A new, proud generation of heaven’s chosen has been born. Can the new generation of Shrek’s Seven Devils rally the Tang Sect and once more compose the song of the Unrivaled Tang Sect?

A million-year-old spirit beast, a sacred deathgod that holds the sun, the moon, and the stars in his hands, and a brand new spirit tool system which caused the fall of the Tang sect. One miracle shall occur after another.
Can the Tang Sect’s hidden weapons rally the winds, and can the glory of the Tang Sect ascend once more? All of this will be continued in the second installment of Douluo Dalu—The Unrivaled Tang Sect!

Disclaimer: The Unrivaled Tang Sect mentions events from DD1 in passing, but there are no major spoilers. However, the exception to this is the prologue. If you don’t want any spoilers, you don’t need to read the prologue, as it doesn’t really affect the plot much.

    1. the novels caught up but i like the fact that he’s retranslating or whatever
i can keep up with it this way rather than reading it all together

      1. Mangareader sometimes they late in realease some website are faster than them, meaning mangareader website is not the one who not handle the UTS manhua. Try the other website.

  1. do we need to read DD1 before this ? and it’s completly different or it’s the same with new people ? anyway thanks you to work on this serie !

    1. I still think you should read doulou dalu 1 first until last chapter translated, then read the 2nd (UTS) to get the feel and lear picture of doulou dalu world and cultivation

      1. I would read DD1 since i enjoyed the manhua, but the place i started reading has an awful translation. If you know a place with a good translation id much appreciate it

    2. the MC in this novel is different, it’s just that there is a relationship between the MC in this novel with the MC in the novel before. and I think it’s more interesting than the previous novel. This novel has about 622 chapters

Besides DD1, you can also read a novel entitled “Divine Throne”, in order to better know who the teacher of the main character in this novel.

to my knowledge, the characters that are in some novel by Tang Jia San Shao have relationship between MC

      1. Technically i’d say more that the mc’s are connected by the fact that they become Gods of the Godrealm For example, the MC in Divine Throne is the “Scion Of Light” wich means he will replace the current god/goddess of light when he achieves 1 000 000 spiritual energy if i remember correctly wich his the point where people from his mortal realm achieve Godhood. And to add more Tang San said in the prologue that “A single day in the God Realm is equivalent to a year in the mortal world. This is true for every single plane.” Wich means that there are more than one mortal realm so the only connection possible between MC’s is in the Godrealm

        1. After reading a bit more i finally understood your comment at 100%. So if the teacher is actually from Divine Throne that would be awesome but i would still not know who he could be since i actually didn’t fully read it (Divine Throne that is)

      2. Now that you mention it kinda reminds me the teacher in Legend of the dragon king reminds me of LHC’S teacher that taught him his Guardian Knight abilities way way earlier on in the story line

  2. Still got 66 chapters till DD1 is finished translating. At a pace of about 1 “FULL” chapter a week, ill b back in a little over a year to read this. Just a little sad that Bagelson went from 2-5 chapters every 3-4 days to 1 chapter every 7 days.

  3. I will admit, I squealed like a little girl when I found out this was being translated here. I do not regret this. Thank you so much, Translator! You are a true saint!

  4. Are you seriously splitting the chapters in 4 extremly short parts?
Just be honest with and release 2 normal chapters a week.
At least this way it won’t be annoying to read.

    1. Hi, one chapter from UTS is about 2k characters right now, which is standard for all novels in the beginning. I didn’t split it into four parts, the author did. Around chapter 30 or so, it’ll increase to about 3k characters, which is also the standard for all novels when they get to the middle part. It may seem little, but I assure you that the size of UTS chapters are roughly the same length as other novels. TJSS(the author of DD and UTS) splits his chapters up into four parts, so I’m following him.

  5. I have a little question to Sean and the other people working on DD2. I heard some people say you did have a license about this novel or something similar allowing only you to publish an english translation for this novel. Is it true? If it is, there’s a website I really don’t like and which is translating it too currently.

Sean, you should know which website it is as it seems you’ve been talking with Setras about them. I’m not giving any name as I’m currently really pissed against them for all the trouble they brought on the bluesilvertranslations’s website (and I’m not willing to advertise for them).

    1. Why not ask Setras and Vennaenna at CookiePasta for their work and update here. And Sean, you just have to continue where they drop it.. Good for you and everyone here.

  6. Wow, thanks for translating this novel. I thought I will never be able to continue reading this after Cookiepasta dropped its translation on this novel. Hope you can finish this novel’s translation. Thank you soooo much !!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂

  7. Hi sean.. thank you for translating this great novel and bringing it to wuxiaworld. I love the story and the feel. I’m a fans of all doulou dalu story, and now I love 2nd the most (maybe because it’s still early level and hard life story). I hope you can speed up until 40-50th chapter so I can continue reading again. I really appreaciate your effort 🙂

  8. 无意中发现了不得了的东西……这个小说我还没看完,但我看过前传斗罗大陆₍₍ ง(*Ӧ)ว ⁾⁾
    Inadvertently found something terribly… I haven’t finish reading the novel, but I have seen a prequel dou luo continent ₍ ₍ ง ว (* Ӧ) ⁾ ⁾
    哦,对,翻译软件还挺有用。
Oh, yes, the translation software is quite useful。

    1. It’s not clear wether you meant that you read DD1 or just found that there is one so i’ll tell you this, the Guy and the Girl mentionned in the prologue are the MC and his wife from DD1…

    1. i’m trying to find a completed DD1, wuxiadream was on the last chapter but haven’t been able to access the site the last couple of days.

    1. Originally, DD2 was translated by Cookiepastatranslations so wuxiaworld didn’t pick the project as they seem to respect their fellow translators. However, once Cookiepasta announced that they were dropping the project, Sean claimed it and began working on it with some fellow translators, I assume. So the main reason why DD3 has more chapters done is simply because wuxiaworld couldn’t begin working on DD2 earlier.

  9. The original translator had already translated to ch38 part 1 and the quality is good as well, why don’t you just transfer that over and then begin from that instead of rewriting it all over again? At this point some readers that have transferred over are just either waiting or re-reading this which makes no sense since you already have the translated content at least up to ch38.

  10. There was a site already translating it after CookiePasta dropped it and because this guys have exclusivity they can’t keep translating it.

To make it worst, this guys started from the very beginning instead of using what was already translated and now they are not even translating it anymore..

    Just to fight another translator.

  11. Well, the last chapter had a note that the translator had exams until June 20th. However, it’s almost been a week and no one’s posted anything new. At least give the readers a post saying you’re sick, or out of the country, or something.

I’ve resorted to MTL in the meantime…
