The sages said, read ISSTH Book 2, Chapter 96!!

Leonardo brandished his swords skillfully. Suddenly he heard a noise behind him. “Back off, buddy,” said King Koopa. Leonardo quickly departed. King Koopa laughed. Suddenly a booming sound out from around the corner. Blastoise suddenly appeared. “Beat it!” King Kupa ran off, tail between his legs. Suddenly a roar filled the air. Blastoise coughed up a mouthful of blood. A voice rang out: “Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Patriarch Reliance!” Blastoise disappeared into a sassy rainbow beam as he fled.

Some info regarding the release schedule….

When RWX sweet-talked me into translating ISSTH, I agreed to provide 5 guaranteed chapters per week. The number of chapters rapidly increased. Right now I’m doing 7 guaranteed chapters and between 3-5 sponsored chapters per week, bringing the total chapter count to 10-12. Last week was a special week because I really wanted to bring the exciting Book 1 conclusion by Sunday, so there were 7 free chapters and 6 sponsored chapters for a total of 13 chapters.

To be honest, 11 or 12 chapters is my physical limit at the moment. Currently, my regular full-time job has me working a little over 40 hours per week (20 hours of that is on Saturday and Sunday, which leaves me virtually immobile on saturday and sunday nights). To post 11-12 chapters, I spend about 30-35 hours per week translating. You can do the math.

I love translating, but at the moment I can’t push any harder to release chapters except for on special occasions. Over the next few months, I will continue to publish between 7-12 chapters per week, depending the circumstances of each week. However, I have a plan to be able to increase the chapters to 14 (or more) per week! I hope to be able to do that within the next 5-7 months. At that time, I’ll bust my butt to catch the translation up to Er Gen’s releases!

Thank you, everyone, for reading and enjoying the story. I very much appreciate all of the comments. And SUPER thanks to the sponsors who have helped motivate me to simplify my life and focus almost completely on translating!

  1. Thanks for the chapter and thanks for all the trouble you pass to bring the 7 guaranteed chapters per week, don’t work to hard on everything and remember to take some time off when you needed.

  2. Thanks a lot for all these chapters, you were too kind to increase the numbers of chapters released to share the excitement on the revelation of Patriarch Revelation’s true nature and there’s no reason to continue the pace. Take your time, just enjoy the process itself and do NOT ever overwork yourself, boy I know the regret when you overwork yourself when others said your work was not good enough.

  3. Thank you Deathblade and all involved in this chapter.
Seven chapter a week is already good, don’t overexert yourself, and enjoy other things as well, thank you for your hard work!

  4. Hey thanks for the great Job you are doing, don’t overwork yourself. 7-8 chapters per week is good enough cause you just have to be sure to catch up to Er Gen’s releases. Be sure to take a break when you need it no-one is a machine and translating can taxing so you might need to take breaks. Have fun and I hope you keep translating. Your dedication to complete Book1 is highly appreciated.

Oh and the little skit was very funny.

  5. Thank you for all your hard work, it truly appreciated by many that read this. Don’t overwork yourself and get burned out. I’m quite sure most if not all would rather consistent releases rather than none.

  6. I just wanted to say that your the best Deathblade. On top of being a very good translator your also reliable and VERY fast. Yet you almost always find time to add funny little bits before your translations too. This leacher is incredibly greatful for you making his day so much better.

  7. I know a productive author who drinks tea, strolls through town (with dense spiritual energy?), and collects swords. See if those methods work for you?

Seriously feel free to take time off when needed. We don’t want you to burn out on translating these excellent stories we follow so intently. Even RWX takes a day off each month.

  8. you should take some time off to cultivate on the dao. you might find a way to translate even more chapters per week. some sages say, that in ancient times translators could translate thousands of words without food or water! maybe you will reach that level someday.

  9. I’m still not over Patriarch Turtleface.
    I don’t think I ever will be.

7-12 chapters a week is already incredible! Especially since you also have a full-time job. It really makes me feel inferior. Jeez… I don’t work anywhere near 75 hours a week haha
    Thanks for the chapter!

  10. Thank You .
Is Patriarch Reliance like Black Turtle from North in Mythology ?
If thats the case i wonder if he is going to subdue or get other 3 as well 😀
though it seems it will take a while to even get hold of this one 😀

  11. As much as I love speedy releases, the last thing I want is for DB to burn out. If you want to slow down or take a break, by all means do so.

Also, I can’t thank you enough for doing these chapters.

  12. Hey, thanks for the comments everyone. Don’t worry, I will do my best to avoid burnout. By the way, I will be going on vacation in a couple weeks. Should be relaxing (although I still plan to translate while on vacation haha).

    1. No, translating during Vacation is not allowed! Unless you’re at those resort type vacation where all you do is chill at a resort and its beaches……… Then yeah, go ahead. 😀

  13. Please don’t overexert yourself. The quality of the translations are already amazing. I cannot thank you enough for that. Also thanks for everything so far 🙂
