The sages said, read ISSTH Book 1, Chapter 28!

I Shall Seal the Heavens

When I got to the end of the last chapter the first time I read it, my thoughts were: Oh snap, trouble is a brewin’! What could Shangguan Xiu want with Meng Hao? Did he find out about him stealing Wang Tengfei’s loot? Is he suspicious of him for some other reason? Does he want Meng Hao’s secret wild chicken recipe? Perhaps he’s just bored and needs a Halo partner between meditation sessions? Find out how many of my questions are completely wrong in:

Chapter 28: Shangguan Xiu
Translated by Deathblade
Contributing Editor: Madam Deathblade
Proofreaders: Lingson, laoren and MeeBoo

I’m making some adjustments to some terms, please read further:

Based on some later terminology regarding the level progression of Cultivation monks, I’m changing the term “cultivation foundation” to “Cultivation Base” effective immediately.

I’m making some other minor adjustments to other level progression terminology. It hasn’t been mentioned much, only a few paragraphs in chapter 19. If you REALLY want to see the changes, you can go re-read the paragraphs regarding the Grand Elder who died (they’re very small).

Also, you may recall “the southern regions” of the Nanshan continent being mentioned. In the future, this will be referred to as the “Southern Domain.” More info on this later, when it appears again in a future chapter.

  1. How could your predictions be wrong, Deathblade?!
Halo is much easier with two players, after all. I mean, you can send one guy in and then if he dies he’ll just respawn next to the other player and you don’t even have to revert back to a checkpoint. He was probably playing on Legendary with all the skulls on.

Uhm, right, thanks for the chapter by the way!
